Who we are
AI GIF Maker is an independent service at https://aigifmaker.ai. By using the site you agree to these Terms of Service; if you do not agree, do not use it. Write to support@aigifmaker.ai about anything in these terms and a person answers. AI GIF Maker is not affiliated with Giphy, Tenor, Discord or the companies behind the AI models it uses.
The service
You type a line of text and AI GIF Maker turns it into a looping animated GIF, usually in 30 to 70 seconds. It is a digital service delivered online the moment the GIF is ready: you download it or share it by link. The free GIF tools on the site (GIF compressor, GIF resizer, GIF to MP4, video to GIF and add text to GIF) run inside your own browser. Features and the AI model in use may change over time.
The AI model behind your GIFs
Every GIF is generated by OpenAI's GPT Image 2.6 model, which draws the animation and the text on it as a native GIF. The text you submit is sent to the provider that serves this model, only to make your GIF. AI GIF Maker does not use your prompts or your GIFs to train AI models.
Accounts
You can make a GIF without an account; signing up with your email keeps your GIFs and purchases together in one place. Keep your sign-in details accurate and secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use AI GIF Maker.
Free and paid GIFs
Free GIFs carry an aigifmaker.ai mark and are for personal, non-commercial use. Paid GIFs come without the mark and may be used commercially, subject to the rest of these terms and to the rights of others. What you get for free and what each paid option costs is listed on the pricing page at https://aigifmaker.ai/pricing.
Payments and merchant of record
Payments are processed by Waffo Pancake, our merchant of record. Waffo Pancake sells to you on our behalf and handles payment, invoicing and sales tax; its name is shown at checkout and on your receipt. Card details are entered on the Waffo Pancake checkout page and never reach AI GIF Maker's servers. The price that applies is the one shown when you buy.
One-time purchases
You can buy a single GIF or a one-time pack of GIFs. Each GIF you make uses one from your GIF balance. GIFs from a one-time purchase never expire, and nothing renews.
Monthly plans and automatic renewal
Monthly plans renew automatically. By subscribing, you authorize Waffo Pancake to charge your payment method the plan price shown at checkout at the start of every monthly period until you cancel. Each period adds that plan's GIFs to your GIF balance. GIFs from a period that you have not used end with that period and do not roll over to the next one.
Which GIFs are used first
When you make a GIF, the GIFs in your balance that end soonest are used first. That means GIFs from your current monthly period are used before GIFs from one-time packs, which never expire.
Cancelling a plan
Cancel anytime online at Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription, with no email needed. Cancelling stops the next charge. Your plan and the GIFs it gave you stay usable until the end of the period you already paid for, and then the plan ends.
Failed GIFs and refunds
If a generation fails, that GIF goes back to your balance automatically. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy at https://aigifmaker.ai/refund-policy, which is also shown at checkout: GIFs from a one-time purchase that you have not made yet can be refunded within 14 days, a first monthly plan has a 7-day refund window, and GIFs already made are not refundable.
Billing questions
If a charge looks wrong, email support@aigifmaker.ai before you contact your bank. We answer and correct billing mistakes directly, which is faster for you than a dispute.
Content standards
These rules cover every prompt you type and every GIF made on AI GIF Maker. Each prompt is checked before generation by our own safety screen and by Waffo Pancake's prompt scan, and a request that breaks these rules is refused before it runs.
Prohibited content
You may not request or create: sexual, nude or sexually suggestive content of any kind; any sexual or exploitative content involving a minor or anyone who appears to be under 18, in any style; graphic violence, gore, or content that promotes violence, terrorism or self-harm; hate speech, harassment or threats against a person or group; realistic depictions of a real, identifiable person made to deceive, or impersonation of a real person, brand or organization (deepfakes); content that infringes copyright, trademarks or a person's likeness; or anything illegal where you or we operate.
Other prohibited use
You may not bypass limits or safety screens, use jailbreak prompts, automate or scrape the generator, resell access to it, use its output to train competing AI models, or present an AI-made GIF as the work of a human professional where that would mislead people.
Zero tolerance and enforcement
Sexual content involving minors and non-consensual intimate imagery lead to immediate account termination with no warning, loss of the account's GIF balance, and a report to the authorities and to NCMEC where the law requires it. For other violations we may refuse the request, remove the GIF, warn you, suspend features or close the account, depending on how serious it is. You may appeal a decision once by writing to support@aigifmaker.ai.
Reporting a GIF
To report a GIF made on AI GIF Maker that breaks these rules, infringes your copyright or trademark, or shows you without your consent, email support@aigifmaker.ai with the subject Report and the GIF's link. We acknowledge every report within 3 business days and take infringing content down while we review it. Your identity is never shared with the person reported.
Who owns the GIFs
You keep the rights to the text you write, and you own the GIFs made from it, subject to the free and paid use rules above and to the rights of others. You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to process your prompts and store your GIFs only to run the service for you. You are responsible for having the rights to what you ask for and to how you use the result.
Shared links
Each GIF is stored at its own link so you can download it and send it anywhere. Anyone who has that link can open the GIF, so keep private information out of your prompts.
Disclaimer
The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee that every generated GIF will be accurate, that the service will be available without interruption, or that a result will fit a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to AI GIF Maker is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses.
Suspension, termination and account deletion
We may suspend or close an account for a breach of these terms, for fraud, or where the law requires it. You can delete your account at any time at Settings → Security → Delete Account, or by emailing support@aigifmaker.ai; any active monthly plan is cancelled at the same moment, so no further charge is made.

Changes to these terms
We may update the service and these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new version number and effective date at least 15 days before they take effect.
